Two Eminent Leaders In Futures Trading

In many ways, the careers of RCG's founding members, Leslie Rosenthal and J. Robert Collins, read like the story of the futures trading industry itself.

With nearly a century of experience between them, they have become legendary futures brokers and have held several key leadership positions that have shaped the industry worldwide, as well as the company that bears their names.

Today, the success of Rosenthal Collins Group as the second largest privately-owned Futures Commission Merchant owes much to the synergy that comes from their unrivaled operational experience, their unique industry perspective, and the sheer talent of their strategic vision.

Leslie Rosenthal

Les Rosenthal brings his 50+ years of trading experience and knowledge to the management of RCG and leadership of the futures trading community. From his beginnings as a runner at the Chicago Board of Trade and early years as a member, to his two consecutive terms as Chairman of CBOT and participation in founding the National Futures Association, he has witnessed the evolution of the industry towards a truly global marketplace powered by cutting edge technology. His nomination to the Futures Industry Hall of Fame, in 2005 is a fitting tribute to this iconic futures trader and broker.
J. Robert Collins

Bob Collins is widely regarded as one of the preeminent executives in the futures industry. His father, John F. Collins, became a clearing member of CBOT in 1923, and Bob joined him in his business in 1961. He has subsequently given more than 40 years' service in management at RCG and its predecessor firms. The futures industry has benefited from his skills, keen operational experience and understanding of trading strategy as he has served as President of the MidAmerica Commodity Exchange, Director of the Chicago Board of Trade and Governor of the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation. He continues today to provide inspiring leadership as a co-Principal at RCG.
